What is the difference between Basic and Advanced backup systems?

Basic backup system

  • Applied to all shared hosting accounts of all sizes.
  • Runs Monthly only
  • Backup entire account
  • Can't be restored from cPanel (Support ticket is required to request a restore)
  • Created mainly for internal use

Advanced backup system

  • Runs Daily and Weekly
  • Backup entire account (including files, databases, email accounts)
  • 1-Click restore from cPanel
  • You can restore individual file/folder, database, an email account or the entire hosting account from cPanel.
  • Backup can be downloaded from cPanel
  • Backups stored in two locations
  • Free when your account is less than 5GB and less than 180,000 inodes.

Update: We run the advanced backup system for free on all accounts under 5GB. We still can run the advanced backup system when your account is more than 5GB with an additional fee.
